Roles and Responsibilities of Senior Advocate – Litigation and court matters:
- Case Analysis
- Conduct Pre-Trial Research
- Represent in a Trial
- Efforts towards settlement before trial
- Drafting briefs and other legal documents
- Gathering evidence to be used in trial
- Obtaining state bar admission
- Negotiations with opposing parties and sometimes participate in mediation and settlement conferences with the judge
- Create settlement brochures, agreements, releases, and other materials to memorialize any agreement that’s reached
- Present cases in court
- Drafting and filing of appeal
- strong knowledge of land and related litigation matters
- Coordination with consulting external legal experts
